30 Minute Lesson

Age 6 - 12

Warm Ups (5-10 Minutes):

Warm Ups include exercises to help with pitching, intervals, intonation, fluency, diction, clarity, breathing & projection.

Work on song (15 minutes):

Unless you are doing a Grade with either Trinity College London (Rock and Pop) or London College of Music (Music Theatre) you have a lot of freedom with the song choices. I want you to enjoy all of your lessons and this means singing songs that you love! We can put together shared playlists, with songs you already enjoy singing and goal songs. Within this portion of the lesson I will give you the tools you need to make each song sound better whilst simultaneously giving you transferrable skills you can use in other tracks.

Homework (2-3 mins):

What can you do at home? Maybe it's writing a list of songs, maybe it's practising a specific bit of a song a few times to help it sink in. It could be learning lyrics or annotating your sheet music.
